OVP website falls to multiple hacker attacks in 1 day
One month after being defaced, the website of the Office of the Vice President fell victim to several attacks by hackers Friday morning and afternoon.
While the site was restored before noon following a hacker attack, it was defaced again in the afternoon, apparently by the same group calling itself PrivateX.
In one of the group's afternoon attacks, visitors to the site after 2 p.m. saw the home page replaced with an anime image, with music playing in the background. -

A hacker has defaced the website of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).
The incident was discovered on Monday by Internet users.
Instead of the MWSS website greeting visitors, people are redirected to another site that shows an anime character. -

Hacked SBS links to risky content
BS confirmed the attack in a statement, saying that over the past two days, a malicious user was able to enter its website and insert a link to a malware site.
"Users who may have inadvertently visited this third-party malware site could then have had their machines infected with a virus, depending on their security settings," it said in a statement. -
Anonymous, LulzSec Deface The Sun Web Site
The Anonymous group is targeting media mogul Rupert Murdoch with a series of derogatory hacks against the Web site of The Sun coupled while pledging that e-mail leaks and data disclosure are forthcoming in the near future.
Il ritaglio di giornale qui sotto ricorda uno degli eventi più non-trovo-un-aggettivo-appropriato del mio periodo di studente di Ingegneria a Pisa. Ricordo che una mattina iniziò a spargersi la voce "hanno murato la porta del dipartimento!". Andammo subito a vedere ed arrivammo un pò prima dei giornalisti che scattarono questa foto. La porta era murata, intonacata, pitturata di bianco e sovrastata da una scritta "INGEGNERIA DEVE ESSERE DIFFICILE". Le "E" di "INGEGNERIA" erano scritte al contrario perché era una sorta di "marchio di fabbrica" della facoltà di Ingegneria di Pisa. L'aula più grande, quella in cui pressoché tutti gli studenti seguivano i corsi dei primi anni, aveva infatti alcuni bellissimi "affreschi scherzosi" che furono fatti nel corso delle proteste studentesche di qualche anno prima ed in cui la parola "Ingegneria" era appuntoi scritta in quel modo. Si era anche già sparsa la voce di cosa era ...
